HOK’s Micki Washington and Kay Sargent join the IFMA World Workplace Conference for a session on steps to creating workplace inclusion.
COVID-19 has shed new light on age-old problems of social inequity, systemic racism and social injustice. To design space that is inclusive, it’s important to understand how space affects people from various perspectives and characteristics. This discussion will focus on designing environments that welcome all and foster social equity. It will explore how to embrace the principles of universal design and create space that is more physically and culturally inclusive, allowing people to thrive.
This discussion will take place on Sept. 30 at 10:45 AM CT at Nashville’s Music City Center.
