Chris is a principal and the practice leader for HOK’s Science + Technology group in Florida. Based in the firm’s Tampa studio, he leads the growth of the practice across the state, with responsibilities that include client development, design strategy and thought leadership. He collaborates with institutional and industry clients to deliver forward-thinking environments that support scientific discovery, health innovation and advanced manufacturing.

With more than 25 years of experience—and more than a decade focused specifically on science and technology facilities—Chris brings deep expertise in managing complex technical projects across multiple sectors. Known for his responsiveness, technical rigor and client-first mindset, he guides multidisciplinary teams to deliver efficient, resilient solutions tailored to each project’s unique purpose and performance goals.

A frequent speaker at industry conferences and contributor to design publications, Chris shares insights on topics such as resilient lab design, interdisciplinary research spaces and next-generation STEM environments.

An active member of the American Institute of Architects, Chris is also a LEED Accredited Professional and a registered architect in Florida.
