Randy is a director of HOK’s Science + Technology practice, which includes a unique alchemy of design thinkers, lab planners and technical experts. He is based in Atlanta.
Randy understands researchers and the facilities they need to solve the world’s most complex scientific problems. He is constantly rethinking the way complex science facilities work. In addition to providing highly functional and technically sophisticated spaces, he aims for his group’s solutions to help clients achieve the most innovative research outcomes.
Randy frequently speaks at professional conferences and publishes articles on topics including the convergence of engineering and science, integration and efficiency, high-tech core facilities, accelerating the translation of research to product development, lab security and risk mitigation, and sustainable, high-performance buildings.
