An engineering leader with nearly four decades of experience, Saad works closely with owners, architects, consultants and contractors to integrate engineering design throughout all phases of project development. His expertise includes engineering management; design and documentation of lighting systems, power distribution systems and fire alarm systems; and coordination with consultants to design security and telecom systems.

Saad has designed electrical distribution systems for a range of complex projects including a 130 MVA distribution system, 15,000 kW emergency power generators and 8,700 kW uninterruptible power supply systems.

He is an active member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, the Illuminating Engineering Society, the National Fire Protection Association and the Association of Energy Engineers. As a Certified Lighting Efficiency Professional, Saad has led the electrical engineering design for many of HOK’s most high-profile projects.
