Vance Cheatham AIA, LEED GA
Vance is principal – design for HOK’s Atlanta studio, where he leads the creative vision and design direction for a wide range of projects. As a design principal, he plays a crucial role in shaping the overall aesthetic and functional aspects of each project while mentoring team members and fostering innovation.
Vance leads diverse project teams in developing building and space solutions that advance client goals and benefit communities.
Known for his collaborative “best-idea wins” approach, Vance creates an environment where creativity flourishes. An active listener and creative partner, he ensures that each client’s goals, vision and objectives are exceeded.
Vance’s unique global perspective stems from his experience as a Peace Corps volunteer, where he built schools in various countries. This international background enhances his ability to create culturally sensitive and inclusive designs that resonate with diverse user groups.
