Zachary Christeson ASLA, PLA, LEED AP
With over 20 years of experience, Zach leads HOK’s planning, urban design and landscape architecture studio in Texas. He is based in Houston.
Zach collaborates with integrated teams of architects, interior designers, planners, and landscape architects to deliver a diverse array of projects across the U.S. and internationally. His designs seamlessly integrate economic value, social impact and environmental resilience, creating spaces that enhance people’s lives and the communities they inhabit.
Zach’s extensive portfolio includes urban and suburban projects spanning various sectors, such as mixed-use, retail, corporate, community, educational, healthcare, research and justice campuses, public space, streetscape and greenway projects, hotels, resorts, sports and entertainment venues, and multimodal transportation hubs and systems.
Zach is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI), where he contributes knowledge and insights to help shape the future of urban design and landscape architecture. He is certified as a Professional Landscape Architect (PLA) and is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP).
