A global company commissioned HOK to design a three-story office building to support the success of its people.
HOK’s team began by engaging client representatives in a series of programming work sessions. This process revealed two important goals for the new workplace: Provide more opportunities for collaboration and accommodate the company’s future changes and growth.
The interior design provides a central, park-like gathering space and natural light for all. An open floor plan accommodates alternative work areas, collaboration spaces and staff amenities.
The clean, white interiors create a refined industrial aesthetic. Warm wood detailing, baffled ceilings and wrapped walls accent the building’s lobby, pantry, cafeteria and other collaboration spaces. Break rooms and kitchenettes have fun, vibrant tiled backdrops and furnishings that provide splashes of color.
Spaces that encourage employee interaction include a game area with ping-pong and pool tables, coffee and juice bars, a full-service cafeteria and a fitness center.
