The Albany Hotel

This 37-story hotel will replace a vacant warehouse building in the historic Pico-Union neighborhood just west of downtown Los Angeles. It includes 730 guest rooms and 63,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space.

The contemporary glass tower has tiered roof heights leading down to a south-facing podium deck. The design welcomes guests by transforming the streetscape around the building into an urban plaza with a tree canopy, green space, shaded seating, and retail and restaurant space.

Located within a five-minute walk of the Los Angeles Convention Center, the building will add much-needed hotel rooms to the neighborhood and help attract more conferences and events. The property also bridges the Harbor Freeway with a pedestrian link to better connect Pico-Union with downtown.
